Description

Self-collected in clean sand around seagrass, in shallow waters, 2012. These are the biggest and best among the specimens I self-collected, ofcause are in the optimum collectors’ quality for even this common species. I have made sure during collecting that I preserve them the best that I could so that the lip and conditions are closest to gem, and carefully selecting the colour out of hundreds (most are white), the coloured specimens are uncommon. These are also very big size specimen. Even the operculum I can assure you that they are in the exact specimen collected. I never boil them, only freezing then carefully removing the soft parts and mild bleaching to remove the perio, thus the colours are stable. You won’t find many like these around in terms of quality and colour!
