Nominate subspecies, it present on average a taller spire than A. damonii reevei with a more elongated shell.

Reticulate pattern consisting of thin brown axial grouped into denser lines to form a fractal netting pattern. More prominent “tent marking” than in A. damonii reevei.

The line pattern thickens into two spiral bands on the body whorl , varying in sharpness from individual to individual. Variations of the density of the pattern remain within narrow limits, and seems to be of individual nature along the range
