Description
Dived at 9~15m Feb 2015. A very big and dark hybrid. A very rare hybrid elsewhere but in the Philippines uncommon. This specimen is selected dark and nice orangy aperture. Has both attributes of each species. The dorsum has both millepeda and lambis lambis features, digits resembling lambis lambis but shape is somewhat millepeda, but the aperture curiously has both the orangy colour of some lambis lambis and the purple colour, also the lirae which is typical for the millepeda. Very nice specimen at good price.
