Mauritia arabica arabica f. amethystea – the real thing with live photo!

Collected 6ft deep, 2022. In South Leyte, the arabica there are special. Phenomena is unknown why they have such orange or purple shells. The theory is that a live volcano there is emitting some metals or eroding the upper layer to form the amethystea top; this can be faked easily by polishing off the top layer, therefore I only buy from trusted source with live photos.

Species: Mauritia arabica arabica f. amethystea
