A piscivore, which means deadly in the cone world. To catch fishes, a mollusks or any venomous hunter in the sea has to make sure the prey falls dead or paralyzed immediately in front of it to make sure it doesn’t float away with the current or getting robbed from other hungry predators. Thus, be careful while handling this species alive.

A very variable species with a wide range. Several species or forms have been synonymized such as the chusaki and floridus (subfloridus). Can grow very large with giants above 130mm! Although anything above 110mm is rare.
