On sand under plate coral, 14m on Bessie Reef, Dec 2015. Minor chips on the lip and eroded spire. Some sponge attacks as usual for this size. Very large and interesting living fossil. The only surviving member of the family. Fossils of gigantic nearly meter long ancestors of this interesting species have been found.
