Tangle Nets 100-200m 2018. Once in a lifetime comes a special shell. This is one of those “specials” for me. I have wondered and looked for an absolutely perfect and long spined vicdani since the first time seeing them many years ago. Early this year, I met the famous Victor Dan himself, whose name this species borrowed. Seems like it was destined that I get my very first perfect vicdani this year too after many failed attempts where somehow, a spine will break. A miracle from the tangle nets of the Philippines, I would say as perfect as they will ever come. Extra will be for shipping in soap suds to prevent breakage of spines. A wonder of nature at its best! Waiting 20 years to get such a specimen. So please mind the price, I think it is worth every cent and it looks definitely better in real life than my limited photos.
