Amphidromus franzhuberi – Rare

Collected on mountain 1000m above sea level, Jan 2021. Minor blemish at the spire. This is a debated synonym of the Amphidromus asper. The type locality for this species is Khanh Hoa Province while the Amphidromus asper’s typical locality is in Dak lak province. The animal of this species is red in colour while the asper is yellow. Aperture slightly more elongated compared to the Amphidromus asper. Perhaps, still subject to study. These are dead collected specimens.
