Description

caught in bonggao islands 45 meter by fishermen. Lower lip with chips, canal with chip, some spines with chips but no scars. Giant specimens of this species somehow do not exhibit thickened lip to show maturity, seems that they remain with thin lip (sub-adult) all their lives and keep growing to huge sizes, with the largest over 300mm! Way far larger than its sister species Cymbiola nobilis, which I have not seen this trait happening or very very rarely happening. Comparison piece, will come with the smaller specimen FOC.
