Description

Taken about 100m depth. Very rare to be live taken. Just a small chip upper lip. Discovered and still endemic to the deep waters of the Southern Philippines, probably around North Borneo but no deep water fishing is done there. Therefore, the glut of the specimens are coming from dealers from Mindanao, namely Haji Sattar who is a good friend of ours.
