Another beautiful new species from Banten, the Western tip of West Java Island. Discovered by John Abbas, famed collector and discoverer of many native snails in Indonesia. Both dextral & sinistral specimens are found in the same population and colours are variable. Currently very rare. Similar to A. palaceus but the shells are more variable in colours, being white, grey, brown, yellow specimens have been found and the shells are somewhat less chalky and more glossy than palaceus and it’s subspecies.
