A spectacular species, with one of the rarest colours in the molluscan kingdom; blue. A pride and joy of my country Malaysia. In North Borneo, Kudat, in the state of Sabah. I have been searching for this species for 6 years. First wrongly in Tawau. Then to Pulau Balambangan where I found only one baby and then again to Pulau Banggi, the main island after 3 hours in the jungle, found 5 babies again. Apparently they are very high up in the trees and only appear during the rain, hidden high in the canopy I would think. Truly a lovely species.
