Bulimulidae is a taxonomic family of medium-sized to large, air-breathing, tropical and sub-tropical land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod molluscs in the superfamily Orthalicoidea. Distribution of species in the family Bulimulidae includes Ecuador and other South American countries. The family’s oldest fossil record dates from the Middle Paleocene of Brazil (Itaboraí Basin).
