Seraphsidae or commonly known as Auger conchs are a small family very closely related to true conchs, however lacking in the stromboid notch typical to other members in the family. The operculum is similar sickle shaped as other conchs and resembles juvenile members of the strombidae family however as mentioned never develops the notch. Beautiful and smooth shiny shells.
