NW Australia – Fiji. This distinct species shows conchological similarities to the onyx-group while having pattern similar to pyriformis. The density of pattern varies. Some specimen have no dorsal pattern apart from the embryonal banding, resembling angioyorum at first glance. The deep water “vaticina” may be a true sub-species. The name “piscatorum” was based on a mislocalized shell thought to come from Japan. Erronea subviridis is restricted to Australia and it’s surrounding.
