Among the various species of Amoria, A. molleri is one of the mosat distinct seperated by 2 clear characteristics; in the aduls a thick elongate callus, parallel to the inside edge of the outer lip and the irregularity of the columellar plaits, varying from 4~8, often divided in two, or reduced to a simple callosity. Whether we are dealing with one species or more in this “complex” is debatable. Range is from North Queensland to central New South Wales.
