The “Frilled Frog Shell” is an uncommon bursid distributed across East Africa to South Africa. It used to be considered as a subspecies of Bufonaria crumena (Lamarck, 1816), but is now regarded as a separate species. Mostly found around depth range of -5 to -170m, it is a carnivorous / scavenging species. – Credits from Chong Chen
