Caught by tangle nets 100~200m deep, jan 2018. Perfect protoconch, adult lip but some rough areas. The Dusavel’s cone is a classic rarity and a most beautiful of species. Becoming more common due to the innovative tangle net fishing by the Filipinos, prices have come down but beautiful pieces are still much sought after. This is a beautiful specimen exhibiting the classical pattern of the species.
