Large shell, thin, elongated, equivalve, nearly equilateral convex. Valves bear approx 50-60 rather irregular low thin, radial ribs, often in groups of 2 or 3, coarse, but not spiny or scaly, varying in width. Growth lines showing, Ears rather unequal.
