Small to medium size, strong, near equilateral, equivalve, convex shell. Shell carries 17~25 ribs, becoming broader towards the ventral edges. Sometimes with radial ridges and grooves. Some concentric lines showing in interstices, the latter about equal in width to the ribs. Almost equal ears.
